Our days in Paris feel much more precious now that we know our time is limited. Between making the most of our last days here and Joel’s birthday, it’s been a good week.

A much-appreciated birthday package from Peter & Alesha!

30!!! Birthday cards from Joel’s parents.

Love that they have kale here now. Walnut, apple, kale, feta and winter radish salad.

Our street filled with the national police because of protests.

Joel has been enjoying my birthday gift to him.

For this birthday, he went out exploring and took some great photos.

Concorde metro stop.

yikes!

Joel’s birthday breakfast. 2 LARGE pastries. A contrast with my yogurt bowl.

A birthday burger at Blend.

And finally, his birthday pizza. He finished the whole thing.

If I have spent much time with you, I have most likely talked your ear off about wanting curly hair. I finally was able to try on a wig this week and loved it. Can’t justify the $130 price tag though. I know this photo is really weird.

Watching the sunset from Tour Montparnasse. Just beautiful.

And then it started sparkling. We’ll miss you, Paris.

A new chocolate shop opened. This truffle didn’t stand a chance.

no shame.
