Why We Love Amsterdam. Not a list.

To keep things interesting around here I decided to employ other literary teachniques. Because this blog is nothing if not a literary beacon for Davidson graduates everywhere. (In all honesty, I assume other Davidson graduates cringe at my frequent typos and redundant sentence structure.)
Anyway, we loved Amsterdam. So much.
We’ve spend an embarrassing amount of time researching Dutch visas. Our conclusion: impractical and difficult to obtain.
Why did we love Amsterdam?
In limerick:
We assumed that it wasn’t our scene,
But instead found it cozy and clean,
Not a place to go wild,
But quite nice and mild,
The very best place that we’ve been.
In Haiku:
Peaceful Amsterdam
Canals, coffee, concept stores
Hospitality.
In Acrostic:
Amey gave us so much great advice
My favorite part was drinking coffee at the large communal table early in the morning.
So relaxing walking the canals.
The windows have no blinds! You can see inside houses and the lovely interior decorating at night.
Everyone on bikes. Like it’s nothing.
Riding trams is not as claustrophobic as the Metro.
Delicious food, coffee, and many many gluten-free options.
A mix of coziness and sleek european design. Clean lines but comforting.
Make yourself at home, in Amsterdam.

I love this post! Lovely pics and descriptions of an awesome city!
