On the home front
Posted: August 7, 2012 Filed under: food, Paris | Tags: health, Paris Markets Leave a comment »The last two days have been nice. I’ve been out and about a bit more and we are getting to know our neighborhood more and more. The weather has been cool & cloudy, just the way I like it.
We can’t get over how much we love our balcony. The dogs enjoy the view as well.
Because we blew so much of August’s budget on the hotel we have been eating in every meal but cooking in this kitchen is a real joy. Joel snapped this photo mid-preparation of my best attempt at buckwheat crepes for dinner.
This morning I visited the farmer’s market on our block by myself and had a great experience. The vendors were so patient and let me practice my very limited french. I also left with this bounty for the equivalent of $15. Not too shabby.
