Remember the Milk

And that doesn’t include the 16 episodes of Ally McBeal we need to watch before we lose access to Hulu.
In all seriousness, now that our time at the beach is coming to an end, the long list of items to do before leaving the country is occupying a greater portion of my thoughts. In order to fully take in this time with my family I am trying to just write down each worry and task to address once we are back at home.
The weather has stayed warm which means, for the most part, I’ve stayed indoors. I have felt a little better each day though and am amazed by how quickly our time on Bald Head has flown.
So, what has a week at the beach looked like?
Elevnses on the couch with Kelly Ripa (for some reason it’s on at 11 here).
Getting to know Eric, Anderson, Ben, and Roxy. My sisters have great friends.
Being amazed by Amy’s first omelet- a natural!
Reading and eating on the porch.
Enjoying v8 far more than anyone should enjoy canned vegetable juice.
Reading on the porch.
Watching Joel come into his own as a chef.
Lots of board games.
Planning meals for 13 people could be difficult but it has all come together fairly seamlessly. We’ve had burger night, a roast, etc.
Last night I cooked for everyone and, thanks to Amy’s great idea, made pancakes and waffles with a topping bar.
It was a great and fun way to use up all our snacks/fruit and I loved seeing the combinations that people created.
Well, back to the grind. Hoping to fit in 3- 4 more episodes today. An overachiever, I know.
